Spend an Evening Skating
Get outdoors this Valentine’s Day and head to one of the city’s many outdoor skating rinks. Check out Wascana Park’s new state-of-the-art rink or grab your skates and head to one of the many others in the city, such as Grassick Playground Outdoor Rink, Leslie Park Rink, W F Ready Park Rink, or Westhill Park Rink. For a little more adventure, drive to Echo Valley Provincial Park (roughly 1 hour from Regina) for a skating experience unlike anything else.
High Tea at Cafe Francis
Regina’s Cafe Francis is hosting a special Valentine’s Day event: High tea! On February 13th, couples can enjoy a three-course high tea menu that includes the likes of a golden raisin tea biscuit, a pomegranate tart, a French macaron, and an egg salad brioche sandwich. The cost is $55 per person + tax and reservations must be made in advance.
Go on a Sleigh Ride
Head to the Wascana Centre in Regina and enjoy a romantic horse & carriage ride. Available exclusively on February 12th and 13th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, this special activity will have you riding around in style. Rides are first come first serve, however, there will be a waitlist available for people to put their names down on.
If you’re going to be in Regina this V-Day, then be sure to plan something special for you and your partner. And if you’re looking for somewhere to stay during your visit, you’re always welcome at the Home Inn and Suites Regina Airport.
